Biography

Mark Wallace grew up in western Montana as the son of a Baptist preacher. Images from missionaries serving in different countries had a powerful effect on him and gave him a desire to see the world. Mark’s extensive travel and interaction with people all over the globe has given him a unique perspective that distinguishes his work. His hope is that through photography he can convey to his audience a better understanding of and compassion for other people.

Mark’s portfolio includes work for such organizations as KB Home, the U.S. Army and Henan Prosper, among others. His pictures have been published by National Public Radio, The Washington Post and The India Times. Mark specializes in commercial, documentary and fine art photography. His fine art images were recently displayed at the Alwun House in Phoenix, AZ. His stock images are currently available through IPN Stock.

When Mark is not traveling he offers workshops to beginner and intermediate photographers. The workshops cover photo composition, studio lighting, digital workflow, travel photography, and more. The workshops are taught in his studio in Tempe, AZ.

Mark is available for assignment work and is a member of ASMP.
